CAA-Quebec is proud to announce that Quebec restaurants Le Baccara (Casino du Lac-Leamy), Nuances (Casino de Montréal) and Auberge Hatley Dining Room (North Hatley) have been awarded a CAA-AAA Five Diamond rating for the fifth consecutive year. Only 57 restaurants in the entire territory covered by the program (Canada, the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean) received the coveted Five Diamond distinction for 2005.
“Over the years, even as requirements evolve, Quebec’s winning restaurants continue to meet the challenge,” says Paul A. Pelletier, president of CAA-Quebec. “Obtaining a Five Diamond rating is an achievement in itself, but what is even more exceptional is successfully maintaining the same level of excellence.”
The Five Diamond rating recognizes superb cuisine, impeccable service and a world-class dining atmosphere. It is the highest rating a restaurant can obtain within this program and one of the industry’s most sought-after distinctions.
Of the more than 22,000 restaurants evaluated by CAA-AAA’s team of professional tourism editors, only 0.26% were awarded a Five Diamond rating for 2005.
